Fifteen of our athletes represented Turkey at the Balkan Indoor Athletics Championships held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.

Our athletes achieved the following results:

Eda Nur Tulum: Gold medal in the 400m with a season best time of 54.17 seconds,
Emel Dereli: Gold medal in the shot put with a season best of 17.07m,

Necati Er: Silver medal in the triple jump with 16.53m,

Mikdat Sevler: Silver medal in the 60m hurdles with a time of 7.79 seconds,

Ertan Özkan: Season best time of 6.61 seconds in the 60m,

Elif Polat: Personal best time of 54.60 seconds in the 400m,

The 4x400m Women’s Relay Team, consisting of Elif Polat, Zeynep Özkara, and Eda Nur Tulum, won a bronze medal with a time of 3:42:32 seconds.

Competing in the championship with a total of 38 athletes, Turkey won 14 medals in total: 4 gold, 4 silver, and 6 bronze, with 7 medals won by our athletes.

Furthermore, our athletes Ömer Faruk Çanakçı achieved a season best in Pole Vault with 5.25m, and Deniz Kandöker achieved a personal best in Long Jump with 7.28m.
